EPA, in partnership with Country Fire Authority, Melbourne Fire Brigade, and Waste and Resource Recovery Groups, are holding workshops across Victoria to assist resource recovery facility operators and other stakeholders to identify fire risk and suitable controls required to operate in compliance with the Waste Management Policy (Combustible Recyclable and Waste Material).

Metropolitan Waste and Resource Recovery Group (MWRRG) and EPA Victoria have teamed up to share knowledge and investigation training to help you curb illegal dumping in your community. This forum is suitable for anyone who works in council, state government or community group and has an interest in or concern about illegal dumping.

This is a one-day training workshop hosted by EPA Victoria and delivered by the EPA NSW Training Team. Both workshops are the same and will run on 19 and 20 June.

The training focuses on investigating illegal dumping and is suitable for litter enforcement officers from councils and other litter authorities.
